Betsy Walker

Owner/Designer

Betsy Walker purchased Kitchens & Interiors from the long-time owner in the spring of 2019. After years of being under a corporate umbrella, Betsy decided she wanted to make the move into business ownership to have more flexibility and freedom with her designs. With eighteen years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, she has a vast knowledge of cabinetry, plumbing, and countertop materials to help guide her clients to a design that works best for their lifestyle.

Betsy has an Interior Design degree from Purdue University and has become a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Through the years she has completed training at various cabinet suppliers, has visited the Kohler, Wisconsin to take part in plumbing training, and has visited GE, Sub Zero, and Wolf appliance facilities to learn about cooking products.

Betsy resides in Indianapolis with her husband, Grant. Working from home, she focuses on helping her central Indiana clients create beautiful kitchens and baths. She enjoys reading a good book, traveling, and spending time with her extended family.

KIM HAMBROCK

Designer

Kim joined Kitchens & Interiors in 2005, originally filling the role of office manager. She quickly fell in love with closet design. As a specialist in closet design, Kim has obtained her expertise and knowledge through her wide range of work on closet remodels, laundry rooms, pantries, utility rooms, offices, and garages. After a few years spent with the Kitchen & Interiors team, Kim expanded her skills and dove into kitchen and bath design. Kim’s background in residential and commercial space planning and organization contribute to her capabilities as a kitchen, closet, and bath designer.

It is Kim’s belief that there is a direct correlation between organization and stress. She makes optimal organization, along with unique designs catered to the client’s needs and budget, primary objectives in each project. In order to deliver on these objectives and stay up-to-date in design, Kim has attended the National Kitchen and Bath Show for the last fourteen years, and has completed extensive training with Mouser Custom Cabinetry and Delta Faucet Company.

Kim is a lifelong Terre Haute resident and an Indiana State University graduate. She enjoys exercising, expressing her creativity, and spending time with her husband, Mike, and two children, Logan and Lauren.

Kendra Siddens

Designer

Kendra Siddens is a graduate from Indiana State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Interior Architecture Design. Through this, she gained knowledge in both commercial and residential design. She also minored in Human Development and Family Studies. Through her education and experience, she found she enjoys the more personal connection residential design allows her to gain with clients.

Kendra has always had a passion for the arts and being creative. During college, she started a home décor business. This allowed her to decorate and design her space, as well as connect in the design world at home shows. Throughout her years at Indiana State, she studied spatial planning, material selection, color specialization, and design software programs. She also studied historical design, which broadened her knowledge of design styles.

Kendra enjoys residential design above all, because it allows her to turn a house into a home that will be cherished for years to come. She specializes in space planning, along with material and color selection. She creates different layout options for her clients to choose from. She also uses mood boards to visualize what the colors and materials will look like in the space. She is excited to have joined the Kitchens & Interiors team and loves creating beautiful spaces for her clients to enjoy.

Taylor Mills

Designer

Taylor, a recent graduate from Indiana State University, obtained a bachelor’s degree with a major in Interior Architecture design and minors in Business Administration and Marketing. She did her internship with Kitchens & Interiors the summer of 2018 and fell in love with kitchen and bath design, as well as the family-like atmosphere the business offered.

Taylor has attended the National Kitchen and Bath Show along with cabinet seminars to further her knowledge in the industry and to learn about current trends and design styles. Throughout her years at Indiana State, she studied spatial planning, was proficient in many design software programs, and learned how to bring colors and materials together to create a cohesive, beautifully designed space.

Taylor enjoys residential design above all else because it gives her a chance to positively change the way someone lives and interacts in their home; it gives her the chance to help someone fall in love with their space. Her favorite part of the industry veers more toward the decorating side which involves helping people pick out materials, finishes, and colors. She is excited to have joined the Kitchens & Interiors team and cannot wait to work with clients and see projects come to life.
